Modelling the Career Choices of Students at the University of Ghana

Examined the career aspirations, preferences and choices of University of Ghana students, with particular attention to final-year students preparing to enter the labour market, and analysed patterns across a large student survey.

Situation Analysis of Youth in Africa and Development of Policy Toolbox

Period: 2014–2016
Assessed the situation of young people across Africa and developed a policy toolbox to support governments in designing more inclusive and sustainable policies that promote youth wellbeing and development.

National Service and Beyond: Graduate Tracking Study

Period: 2015–present
Tracks tertiary graduates in Ghana as they transition from National Service into the labour market, examining their education, skills, work experience and employment outcomes to better understand the challenges facing young graduates.

Youth Policy Study

Examined young people’s livelihood pathways in Ghana, Tanzania and Zimbabwe within areas experiencing agricultural commercialisation, with attention to employment opportunities, risks and changing rural economies.

Green Jobs and Young People in Africa: Ghana Study

Investigates the aspirations and barriers experienced by young Ghanaians from disadvantaged backgrounds, especially young women, in accessing green jobs and explores how environmentally sustainable employment can contribute to fulfilling livelihoods.
